Change in the Air: The English Beef and Sheep Production Roadmap

EBLEX is involved in a wealth of ongoing work with other industry organisations and producers to look at ways of reducing that impact, while increasing efficiency.

Cold pressed oilseed rape as a feed source for finishing lambs

COLD pressed oilseed rape meal (CPOR) may be substituted for standard heat-treated oilseed rape meal (HTOR) as a suitable component of finishing-lamb diets at an inclusion rate of 18% without any adverse effects on Daily Live-Weight Gains (DLWG) or Feed Conversion Efficiencies (FCE).

This fact sheet is a report of a feeding trial and study sponsored by Myerscough College and Carrs Billington.
