Farm walk to clarify Cross Compliance requirements - Whitewell, Clitheroe, Lancs

FREE Defra events are being held in your area to demonstrate and clarify existing and new Cross Compliance requirements.

This farm walk will focus on the most common areas of Cross Compliance failur including areas which are to be more tightly inspected and enforced in 2010. The walk will be led by two independent farm advisers and will focus on issues such as animal identification and registration, food and feed law, animal welfare and other important Cross Compliance rules.

There is a choice of two sessions: 10am to 12-30pm and 1-30pm to 4pm

 

Laund Farm is a 780-acre upland dairy, beef and sheep enterprise managed by Mr John Alpe and family. The farm entered into Higher Level Stewardship in April and has recently entered into Upland Entry Level Stewardship.

The walk will focus on the most common areas of Cross Compliance failure including areas which are more tightly inspected and enforced in 2010. The walk will be led by two independent farm advisers and will focus on issues such as animal identification and registration, food and feed law, animal welfare and other important Cross Compliance rules.
