AT each workshop an independent farm adviser will take you through the NVZ regulations and paperwork required. The workshop will cover:
- The differences between farm and field limits
- The closed periods for manure and fertiliser applications
- Storage requirements
- Record keeping and nitrogen planning requirements
- The grassland derogation
- The new rules regarding spreading techniques
Workshop attendees will be offered a free half hour, one-to-one advice clinic with an independent adviser, which will be held the following week at the same venue. These confidential sessions will give you the opportunity to come with your own farm information and leave with manure N farm limit and slurry storage calculations for your farm.
