NFU Dairy marketing workshop - Garstang, Lancashire

THE NFU is running a dairy marketing workshop on a member’s farm near Garstang, Lancashire on January 21st.

If you are processing your milk for bottling, cheese or any other dairy products then have you considered who is buying your produce?

This short workshop aims to open up the possibilities - maybe there’s a better packaging size for your ice cream, or your cheese label could appeal to more people.

The Dairy Marketing Workshop will help you answer the question: “Who buys your food?”

Other attendees who have taken part in the workshop have recorded as much as a 15% increase in sales.

Where: Old Holly Farm, Cabus Nook Lane, Garstang, PR3 1AA

When: 21st January 2010

Time: 10 a.m. to 2-30 p.m.  Lunch will be included.

Farmer, Ian Pye, will be on hand to share his experience of the workshop and how it helped him decide whether to launch a new range of cheeses.

Cost: £100 (NFU members get a 50% discount on the cost of the workshop and pay £50).

If you would like more information, or to book a place on the workshop, then please contact Clare Smith at the NFU on 024 7685 8642.
