THIS demo event will show how improvements in breeding and attention to detail can result in improved returns.

Focusing on: Bull fertility, the use of EBV’s and best practise when designing a handling system.

Where: Highfield Farm, Jolly Tar Lane, Coppull, Chorley PR7 4BJ

Time: 11am – 2pm

Speakers include:

Clive Brown (Eblex) - The use of EBVs to improve breeding and  returns.

Lambert Leonard and May – Bull fertility.

A demonstration of bull fertility testing, and the importance of good bull condition when put to the cows.

Miriam Parker – A look at cattle behaviour and the importance of good cattle handling systems reducing carcass damage, the stress on the animals and you!

A selection of handling facilities from Carrs Billington and McVeigh Parker
